Tetanus, Diphtheria (Td)

Booster shot every 10 years

Influenza

1 shot every year
Usually in November, at age 50 and older (may be given at younger ages to those with chronic illnesses or those who want to prevent the flu)

Pneumococcal pneumonia (bacterial)

1 shot at age 65 or older
(may be given at younger ages to those with chronic illness)

Hepatitis B

3 shots
For persons with medical, occupational or other risk factors

Hepatitis A

2 shots
For people who travel outside the U.S. or with medical indications

MMR

2 doses/shots during a lifetime

Varicella

2 shots
For those who have never had chickenpox disease

Shingles

1 shot
For people age 60 and older
